Hello! My name is Alessandra Pettinelli and I am a registered guide for the Region of Umbria. I was born in Assisi and I studied Foreign Languages at the University of Perugia. After university I obtained post university degrees in translation and linguistic as well in art and history. Over the years I have become fluent in English and German, and so, in addition to my work as a tour guide, I also work as an interpreter, translator and Italian language teacher.
Since eight years I have offered personalized guide services in Umbria to
hundreds of people, travelling as individuals, couples or groups, introducing
them to our spectacular landscape, our magnificent “art cities”,
and to our wines, food and culture.
I look forward to sharing my love for the art and history of Umbria by exploring it with you.
As wetour we will follow a number of charming, interesting and evocative classical routes through Umbria, exploring the best known Umbrian cities and towns. Other routes are designed so you can discovering typical Umbrian wine and food. Following still other routes we will encounter ancient churches, hermitages and abbeys.
