Hi Ale I just wanted to thank you for your amazing flexibility and follow up as I planned my visit on the fly and through my crazy arrival. I was traveling with my 84 year old mother to see my daughter in Perugia and both had their own separate agendas. My wonderful hotel had intermittent wifi so I was unaware that you didn't receive my confirmation email. Michele was wonderful and our afternoon a bit of an Umbrian dream with visits to bevagna , montefalco and the winery. We will definitely be back. I referred you to my Sicily tour guide Marina Di Gris and my travel agent Jackie LaMothe, both who are planning visits I will post on trip advisor as well. A nomer dei coscritti classe 1960 ringraziamo Myriam per la professionalità e la pazienza mostrata durante la visita alla città di Assisi con il gruppo classe 1960. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti che la guida abbia fornito pure una spiegazione dal punto di vista storico-religioso relativo alla figure di san Francesco, santa Chiara e l'ordine dei frati minori. Non mancheremo di fare conoscere la vostra organizzzione ad altre persone che intederanno visitre Assisi e le città dell'Umbria. The group really enjoyed his tours and the comments were that he was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and caring. I also found him very easy to deal with and was pleased at how flexible he was and how he was prepared to adapt to the specific needs of the group. Kimberlee, Anne Robichaud's friend, mother of Zach who did a tour with Werner: "And there you were…RESCUING my son…your kindness is beyond measure…here is what Zach said: “I can’t even explain it…one of those moments that took my breath away…the private tour with Werner was beyond incredible, excellent tour guide, originally from Belgium…the Flemish King and Queen were here last week in Assisi and personally requested him for a private tour because they know him from the embassy…the places, the piazzas, the churches…I was near tears in the Assisi Cathedrals…it’s Sunday so we were lucky enough to hear the sisters sing through the walls to assist with the service because they’ve taken a vow of seclusion….I was in St. Francis Of Assisi Church while the service was going on and was able to understand parts of it and I said the “Our Father, and the Peace” and blessed with Holy Water…the architecture I couldn’t believe, the streets I can’t even describe…the history of the Romans underneath as the foundation of the city is over 2000 years old….we joked, he showed me unique places, he took the time to have lunch with me at his friend’s local restaurant…I can’t even…it was simply perfect…" Today you and Werner gave my son gift that he will NEVER forget…and for this Anne, I am eternally grateful. Hi Ale Just to say thank you so much for all your hard work in setting up our trips last week in Umbria. We had a marvellous holiday and each of the day trips out really made it for us. We loved the truffle hunting - we weren’t sure what to expect but it completely exceeded our expectations. It was a very special experience, really giving us a sense of life in rural Umbria but at the same time with a genuine hospitality and delicious food to boot. Just fabulous. We were also thrilled with our trips around Orvieto, Assisi and Perugia. Catia, provided two wonderful and memorable days and we felt that we were really able to get the very best out of each of the cities in the time that we had - but she also tantalised us enough to want to visit each again with more time. Her level of knowledge and English were really excellent and she was able to answer all of our questions. The boys came away fizzing with the stories about the region and the buildings. There is so much we would never have seen without her to guide us. Particular favourites were the fountain and Etruscan Arch and the Cathedral in Orvieto. Of course, Assisi was completely charming as well. Her easy going manner and willingness to fit in with us was very much appreciated. We will be in touch for our next trip. Tour of Assisi with Alessandra was wonderful! My sister and I had a half day walking tour in mid May that Ale adpated perfectly for a disability tour- with an electric motor scooter. She was creative in finding solutions. She led/ helped us actually use the escalator to get uphill! She found a maintanance worker who helped take the separated parts of motor scooter up the escalator. She explains so well, the history, art, spirituality of Assisi / St.Francis, as well as present day life in the town. . She makes the tour so interesting- and fun! She knows the town perfectly! Tour Assisi & Spello Ale, We have just returned from our day with Marco... He was wonderful...our day was perfect. We loved spello and Assisi both. Walking tour SPOLETO Hi Alessandra, We just returned from our amazing wedding and honeymoon in Italy, which was a dream! I just wanted to tell you that Antonella was really fantastic. She was lovely, informative, and very patient with our large group. People loved the tour, and I have already had a few people ask me for your contact information for next time they are in Umbria (and, of course, if we are there again we will be arranging another tour). Our day was perfecto! It was everything I asked and hoped it would be. GianLuca was very nice and always on time, the tour of Todi was fabulous and the guide ELISA (hope the spelling is Correct) we could have spent an entire day with, so easy to listen too and so proud of Todi. Delicious food for lunch with a very entertaining waiter, we just loved it. I think we would like to stay in Orvieto some time in the future. Also we loved the apperitivo in Todi, nice touch.
